Toms the Best war Champion-Vererber und einziger Greyhound, der jemals das Derby-Double (English und Irish Derby Sieger) schaffte.

He certainly is the most exciting import ever to arrive on the continent!
By champion sire Toms the Best (only dog ever to win the English/Irish Derby double) he is out of that magnificent brood Mega Delight who is recognised as one of the best brood bitches ever. Among her offspring are two Derby winners Westmead Hawk and Westmead Lord aswell as multiple Group 1 and Open Race winners such as Westmeads Joe, Eagle, Swift, Olivia, Aoifa, Keawn and many more.
Ace himself proved a very talented tracker being runner-up to Westmead Osprey in the Swindon Produce Stakes and a 3rd place in the Hall Green Produce Stakes. At Romford he won the Coral on TV Maiden Stayers final beating eventual St. Leger winner Kinda Easy. He won 17 out of 57 races on six different tracks and boasts some impressive times such as the following:
